A Century of Stories
The school's legacy traces back to 1924 when dedicated missionaries founded it with the mission of providing education to those who needed it most. Over the decades, the school has opened its gate to countless Malaysians, nurturing them to become contributors to nation-building in various capacities. Today, the school continues to honour the vision of its founders: βImpacting Lives and Nation through Methodist Educationβ β firm in the belief that every child is unique and created in the image of God, and the goal is to help each explore and unlock his/her potential.
Centennial Celebrations: A Tribute to 100 Years of Excellence
Reflections on a rich history and enduring values took centre stage as the centennial celebration came around. The schoolβs journey has been characterised by perseverance, growth, and transformation. This centennial milestone serves as a testament to the collective efforts of the church, staff, students, parents, and the broader community. To commemorate this remarkable achievement, several special events were organised:
Open Day & Alumni Games (20 July 2024): A day to showcase illustrious history with a History Walk. There were also Art & Science exhibitions while the Junior school celebrated the different International Cultures during the Open Day.Β On the same day, the alumni also came back for Alumni Games. It was a day for the old boys and girls to gather once again. Futsal, netball and Captain Ball games were organized for the alumni.
